Tesla's genuine advantage is not its current deployment count. It is the FSD data flywheel — millions of miles of real-world spatial reasoning data from Tesla vehicles that no robotics startup can replicate. Every autonomous mile driven by a Tesla on FSD has, in some meaningful sense, been training data for Optimus. When Gen 3 units eventually reach volume, the AI behind them will have been trained on a dataset that competitors cannot buy or build from scratch. That is the actual moat.
